Keep Track of Your Family

With AT&T Secure Family Companion®, you can effortlessly monitor your family's movements. The Family Map provides real-time location tracking, allowing you to see exactly where your loved ones are at any given moment. You can also review location history to understand their daily routines.

Receive instant alerts when your child's device enters or exits a predefined safety zone, such as school or home. Set up scheduled alerts to check if your child has reached home after school. The Breadcrumb Map acts as a detailed trail of your child's device throughout the day, providing peace of mind. When a family member arrives at their destination, you'll get a "Check In" notification.

Control Screen Time and Block Content

Manage your child's screen time effectively with parental controls that let you block specific apps and websites based on age-appropriate filters. Instantly block internet access or set time limits on their favorite apps to ensure they're not spending too much time on screens.

Track web and app usage on your child's device to gain insights into their digital habits. Encourage responsible behavior by rewarding good practices with extra screen time.

Promote Family Safety and Rewards

Promote healthy digital habits by motivating your children to monitor their own app usage. Reward them for good behavior with additional screen time. In case of emergencies, children can send an SOS alert to all family members, ensuring quick assistance.

Find a lost phone with ease using the app's ring feature, which plays a sound for two minutes to aid in locating the device. The dual parent or guardian admin feature supports co-parenting by allowing multiple adults to manage settings collaboratively.

Important Information

The AT&T Secure Family service is free for the first 30 days. Afterward, you will be automatically billed $7.99 each month, supporting up to 10 family members and 30 devices in total. The service auto-renews every 30 days unless canceled.

To fully utilize the app, install both the AT&T Secure Family Parent App and the AT&T Secure Family Companion App. Pairing these apps is essential for accessing all features. Note that continuous GPS usage in the background may affect battery life.

There is a known compatibility issue that could prevent the addition of the AT&T Secure Family Companion App if AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced Mobile Security is installed on the same device. To resolve this, you must downgrade to the free version of AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security before proceeding.
