Since its launch in 2011, the "Elementary School Kanji Drill" series has become a popular and widely-used application among individual users, schools, and cram schools alike. This series supports all 1026 characters that elementary school students learn over six years.

About This App

The "Reiwa 5th Grade Kanji Drill" app is designed to help 5th-grade students master the 193 kanji characters introduced in their language curriculum following the 2020 revised guidelines. This app ensures comprehensive learning by engaging multiple senses—seeing, hearing, and writing—so you can effectively acquire reading and writing skills. Practicing the correct stroke order will enable you to write beautiful characters.

To maintain a steady learning pace, it’s recommended to practice 10 characters a day. Upon completing a day's study, the app will display the study date, add a "well done" mark, and allow you to review your progress. The app also includes a feature where you can test your knowledge by checking the reading of kanji and taking a summary drill. If you make a mistake in stroke order, the app will identify it, allowing you to practice until you get it right.

All previously learned characters are saved as data, enabling continuous daily practice. As you progress, you'll see an increase in the number of circles marking the characters you remember, fostering a sense of accomplishment and motivation to keep learning.
