Muller Cultural: Augmented Reality Application for "The Recycling of Art"

Introduction

Muller Cultural is proud to present its latest augmented reality (AR) application, designed to complement the book "The Recycling of Art." This innovative AR app is part of a multifaceted project that includes a book, a photographic exhibition, and interactive digital content.

Project Overview

The project celebrates the beauty and ingenuity of 25 artists from various regions across Brazil, including Recife, João Pessoa, Campos do Jordão, Visconde de Mauá, Santo Antônio do Pinhal, São Paulo, Itararé, Florianópolis, Penedo, Embu das Artes, and Porto de Galinhas. These artists create stunning works of art using recycled or reused materials, redefining the value of what might otherwise be discarded.

Launch Event

The official launch event will take place at the Botanical Garden of São Paulo on November 10th, from 11 AM to 4 PM, in honor of the park’s 90th anniversary. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the book, and the photographic exhibition will remain on display for 20 days.

Personal Connection

The Muller Family, through Muller Cultural, spent two years working on this project, immersing themselves in the personal stories and creative processes of each artist. The goal was not merely to compile a catalog but to convey the emotional depth and artistic vision behind every piece. The authors emphasize the transformative power of turning discarded items into art, highlighting the passion these artists share for preserving culture and nature.

Interactive Experience

One of the key novelties of this project is the integration of an augmented reality application. This app allows readers and visitors to interact with the book and the photographic exhibition, blending virtual and real-world elements. Through the AR app, which is freely available for both Android and iOS devices, users can unlock additional content, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of the artworks.

Sponsorship and Support

This project has been approved by the Incentive Law PROAC ICMS SP and is sponsored by leading companies like Styroplast, GreenYellow, Artefacto, and Ramuza. Their support underscores the importance of fostering creativity and sustainability within the arts community.

Join us in celebrating this unique fusion of art, culture, and technology at the launch event or explore the world of "The Recycling of Art" through the Muller Cultural AR app.
