About CWA Local 4900

As the largest CWA local in Indiana, our union hall is based in Indianapolis. We are part of a network of approximately 200 locals across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, all supported by District 4 located in Cleveland, Ohio. Our members span from towns near Lake Michigan to those along the Ohio River, making us a truly statewide presence.

At CWA Local 4900, we pride ourselves on being a "member-centric" organization, dedicated to addressing the unique needs of each member. To support our members effectively, we have five full-time elected officers and twelve area representatives stationed throughout the state. Additionally, we maintain over 250 stewards and chief stewards who serve as the first point of contact and ensure contract enforcement in the workplace.
