The Simplifying Expressions with Integral Exponents application is an essential part of the DOST Courseware series, designed specifically for students in Grade 8. This interactive educational tool is part of a comprehensive initiative spearheaded by the Science Education Institute (SEI-DOST) in collaboration with the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI-DOST), the Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine Normal University (PNU), and the University of the Philippines-National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (UP-NISMED).

The DOST Courseware project aims to enhance science and mathematics education through innovative and engaging content. Available in both Windows and Android versions, this application provides a dynamic learning experience that supports blended and e-learning environments. The Grade 8 DOST Courseware consists of 118 lessons, with 57 dedicated to mathematics. These lessons cover crucial domains such as Linear Equations, Quadratic Equations, Rational Algebraic Equations, Integral Exponents, Radicals, Arithmetic Sequences, and Geometric Sequences.

One of the unique features of this courseware is its engaging themes: Magicademy, Freddy’s Lab, and D’nayao. These thematic elements transform the learning process into an exciting adventure, making complex mathematical concepts more accessible and enjoyable.
