Personalized China Calendar

The China Calendar application offers a comprehensive and personalized calendar experience tailored for users interested in Chinese holidays and traditions. This application covers the national holidays for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, along with the traditional 24 Solar Terms. Additionally, the calendar is available in multiple languages including English, Chinese, Korean, and Indonesian, with other UI translations also supported. Users can easily switch between these languages via the "Settings" menu.

Features and Customization

The calendar provides various customization options to make it truly personal. You can enable or disable features such as week numbers, zodiac signs, and moon phases through the "Settings" menu. Adding a touch of personality to your calendar is simple with the ability to customize colors and icons. Choose your favorite background and font colors to brighten up your day.

Moreover, the China Calendar can be used as a widget on your home screen. In addition to the main calendar widget, there are countdown widgets for festive occasions like Christmas and New Year. You can also add your own events, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or annual appointments. These events can be tagged with colorful icons for easy reference, and creating them is straightforward. Specify the start and end dates of each event to keep your schedule organized.

Event Management and Filters

To further enhance your calendar management, the application allows you to show only relevant events, such as national holidays or official working days. Notifications for upcoming events can be set, ensuring you never miss an important date. The calendar also displays additional information like the week number, zodiac sign, and various cultural calendars including Buddhist, Chinese, Coptic, Ethiopic, Hebrew, Indian, Islamic, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese calendars.

New Features and Enhancements

Several new features have been added to improve user experience. You can now back up and restore your personal events via "Maintenance." To enable this functionality, allow the app to access photos, media, and files on your device. The backup file is securely stored on your mobile device without being uploaded to any servers.

The app also supports creating repeated events based on user-defined intervals and offers the option to delete single or series of events. Swipe left on an event to delete it, or hold longer on a specific day in the month view to remove all events for that day. The moon phase feature can be enabled from the settings menu, and you can choose between dark or light themes for the calendar. Customize the appearance further with the ability to set your preferred colors for the background and font.

Other notable enhancements include a list view for events in a month, task management, categorization of events under "Birthday," and a powerful search feature that filters results by birthdays, events, or tasks. A year range filter is also available for more refined searches. For enhanced security, you can enable biometric authentication in the settings.
