In the thrilling action-packed adventure of "Kung Fu," you take on the role of a skilled martial artist, Thomas, determined to rescue his beloved girlfriend, Sylvia, who has been kidnapped by a rival gang. This intense journey will test your reflexes and strategic prowess as you navigate through the treacherous floors of the clan’s dojo, battling formidable foes to reach the top.

Combining jumps and crouches with punches and kicks allows you to extend Thomas's attack range. Different enemies require different strategies, and the height of each attack varies. For instance, the crouched kick provides the lowest attack, while the jump kick offers the highest. Punches are rewarding with more points due to their shorter range and tougher resistance, whereas kicks have more range but yield fewer points.

Thomas

A steely Kung Fu expert, Thomas has mastered powerful punches, sharp kicks, and well-timed jump kicks. As the player, you must decide which techniques to use and when.

Sylvia

Captured by the mysterious gang "X," Sylvia is held captive at the top of their castle. She feverishly awaits her rescue by Thomas.

Stick Fighter

The first boss you'll encounter. He rapidly rotates a powerful stick around his body, making him fairly dangerous to approach. Defeating him rewards you with 2,000 points.

Boomerang Fighter

The second boss, known for tossing a boomerang at you with two ranging patterns. Defeating this foe earns you 3,000 points.

Giant

The third boss, a gigantic fighter relying on brute strength. Overcoming him grants you 3,000 points.

Black Magician

The fourth boss, capable of performing death-defying tricks and a variety of illusions. Defeating him rewards you with 5,000 points.

Mr. X, the Gang Leader

The final boss and the master of all martial arts. This is your ultimate challenge and the strongest opponent in the castle. Defeating him awards you with 10,000 points.

Gripper

One of the most common enemies, these foes will run up to you and attempt to grab you, gradually lowering your life. Defeating them yields 100 points for kicks, 200 points for punches, and 300 points for jump kicks.

Knife Thrower

An uncommon enemy, known for throwing knives at you. Defeating them yields 500 points for kicks, 800 points for punches, and 1,000 points for jump kicks.

Tom Toms

Martial artist midgets that can attack by running up to you or performing aerial assaults. Defeating them yields 200 points for kicks and 300 points for punches.

Dragon

Creatures that drop from the ceiling, sending flames directly overhead. Ducking is advised. Defeating them yields 2,000 points for kicks, punches, and jump kicks.

Confetti Ball

Devices that drop from the ceiling and hover before exploding. Defeating them yields 1,000 points for jump kicks.

Snake

Poisonous snakes released from shattered jars. Avoid them or destroy them with a low kick before they burst from the jar. Defeating them yields 100 points for kicks.
