The "Zimná Údržba" application allows you to contribute to winter maintenance efforts in your city by adopting a sidewalk. This unique initiative not only helps keep your community safe but also offers an opportunity to earn some extra cash.

Map-Based Navigation

Once you log into the application and fill out the initial details, you'll be directed to a map view. This map highlights areas designated for manual snow removal. Select a section that you're interested in adopting, and take responsibility for its upkeep.

Streamlined Administration

After choosing your section, the app generates a contract for you. Your selected area will be reserved for three working days, during which you need to sign the contract in person at the first contact office located at the Košice City Hall. You can pre-book a specific time slot to avoid waiting in line, making the process more convenient.

Contract Signing and Notifications

Adoption is officially confirmed once you've signed the contract. The application keeps you informed via SMS notifications. You'll receive alerts if there's any work required or if materials are delivered to you. In case you can't fulfill your duties due to unforeseen circumstances, the support team is always available to assist you.

Maintenance Process and Documentation

Before and after performing any maintenance tasks on your assigned sidewalk, you must document the condition using the app. Ensure that you have a stable mobile data connection and internet access to upload the photos, as this is crucial for verification purposes.

Rewards and Compensation

Active users are rewarded for their participation, even on days when no maintenance is needed. The compensation comes in two parts: an initial payment covering half of the emergency fee, followed by a second installment that includes the remaining portion of the standby fee along with the fees accrued for each day of actual maintenance performed.
