The app allows you to search for the Star Rating of 34,000 US/UK TV Ads aired since Feb 2017 and any new advert, the day after it first airs:
- EITHER search for an Ad by Country, Category, Company, Brand to view the Ad and its Star Rating
- OR click ShaazzAD when watching an Ad and the app will find and display its Star Rating, if the advert is in our database
- AND play Hi5, a game to help test and train your advertising brain
Star Rating is one of three predictive measures in System1’s full Ad Ratings database, which together accurately predict an Ad’s short and long-term profit potential. The full Ad Ratings database, together with a 24 hour pre-testing capability, advice and Ad news, are available via subscription at www.testyourad.com:
1. STAR Rating 1-5 – predicts long-term brand growth, based on the creative quality of an Ad and its ability to generate an emotional response. A 1-Star Ad (53% of all Ads) leads to low/no long-term share growth and a 2. 5-Star Ad (1% of all Ads) leads to exceptional long-term share growth.
3. SPIKE Rating 1-5 – predicts short-term sales growth, based on the overall emotional intensity generated by the Ad and how well branded it is. A low Spike leads to low/no increase in short-term sales and a 5-Spike Ad leads to exceptional increases in short-term sales.
FLUENCY Rating 0-100 – predicts the strength of branding in the advert, based on the speed and accuracy of brand recognition. A low Fluency of 25 or less, leads to low/no attribution of the Ad to the Brand and an exceptional Fluency of 90 or above, leads to almost universal attribution of the Ad to the Brand.
