Welcome to the world of Joking Hazard, an online adaptation inspired by the quirky humor of stick figure comics. This game reimagines the joy of crafting comedic masterpieces using randomly generated panels. The idea was born out of a mix of frustration and creativity when someone on the internet kindly pointed out that creating stick figure comics might not be as challenging as we imagined. While their critique about our artistic skills (or lack thereof) stung, it also sparked inspiration. We took this feedback to heart and decided to channel our energy into something fun and engaging—leading to the creation of the Random Comic Generator in 2014.

The Random Comic Generator quickly became a hit, delighting millions with its ability to churn out hilarious and unpredictable comics. After spending weeks experimenting with the generator, we began to dream bigger. Could these random panels be turned into a competitive card game? A game where players would team up to craft the funniest three-panel strips possible? Excited by the prospect, we printed out every single panel from the generator and began testing it with friends. And thus, Joking Hazard was born!

In Joking Hazard, gameplay is simple yet addictive. Each player starts by drawing seven cards, representing various panels or punchlines. The deck automatically plays the first card, setting the stage for the comic. Then, one lucky player is chosen as the "Judge," responsible for selecting the second card. Once the second card is played, all other players get a chance to contribute their own third card to complete the comic strip. The Judge then evaluates the completed strips and crowns the funniest entry as the winner!

This process creates endless possibilities for laughter and camaraderie, as each round brings fresh combinations of humor.
