How to Play

The objective of the game is straightforward yet thrilling. Your goal is to discard all your cards before your opponent does. To do this, you must play a card that matches either the shape or the number of the top card on the table. Should you not have a matching card, you can always draw from the market pile until you find a suitable match.

Action Cards

Whot With Friends includes a variety of action cards that add layers of strategy and surprise:

• Hold On/Suspension: Playing a card with the numbers (1) or (8) forces your opponent to skip their turn, giving you a second chance to play.
• Pick Two/Pick Three: Cards with numbers (2) or (5) compel your opponent to draw two or three additional cards, respectively. You must then follow up with a non-action card to conclude your turn.
• General Market: A card with the number (14) prompts your opponent to draw a single card, after which you must play a non-action card to finish your turn.
• Need (Whot-20): Playing Whot-20 allows you to request any specific shape, forcing your opponent to comply with your demand.

Defense Mode

In defense mode, you can counter your opponent’s action cards by playing a matching action card, adding an extra layer of strategic depth to the gameplay.
