About Remote Release
Remote Release - Your Remote Camera Control Solution
Remote Release is a powerful application designed to give you full control over your Canon EOS DSLR cameras directly from your Android device. With Remote Release, you can remotely trigger your camera's shutter button using a USB cable, allowing you to achieve shake-free photos and videos.
Wi-Fi Support
In addition to USB connectivity, Remote Release also supports Wi-Fi connections, provided your camera supports Wi-Fi or you're using an intermediary device such as the MR3040. For detailed instructions on setting up Wi-Fi, refer to the DSLR Controller website where you can find comprehensive guides and tutorials.
Important Notes
Please ensure your device meets the necessary requirements before installing the app. If your device is not compatible, it may be due to missing software or hardware components required for the app to function correctly.
Features
Remote Release offers several key features to enhance your photography experience:
- USB Remote Control: Trigger the camera's shutter button from your phone, just like using a traditional remote release cable.
- Auto-Focus Control: Enable or disable auto-focus functionality depending on your needs.
- Bulb Mode Support: Ideal for long exposure shots, hold the shutter button to keep the camera’s shutter open.
- Continuous Shooting: Hold the shutter button to capture multiple images in quick succession.
Please note that some features depend on your camera model and whether it runs on a DryOS-based system. Refer to the DSLR Controller's device compatibility page for more details.
